Pac-12 announces women's soccer players of the week

Offensive: Leah Pruitt, SR, USC (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.)

• Tallied a goal and an assist for a team-high three points to lead USC to a 3-2 win over No. 22 Washington State.
• Scored her eighth goal of the year on a penalty kick in the first half and then assisted the game-winner with a perfect cross to Penelope Hocking for the header.
• Ranks third in the Pac-12 in goals scored and leads a Trojan squad that is 11th in the country in scoring offense with 2.5 goals per game. 
• Also named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week for her exceptional play.
• Earns her first-career weekly honor and the 43rd all-time weekly honor for the Trojans.

Defensive: Delanie Sheehan, SO, UCLA (Brentwood, Calif.)

• Led UCLA’s backfield to a 2-0 road shutout of Washington, the Bruins eighth shutout of the season and second-straight.
• Scored her third goal of the season after slicing through five Husky defenders and netting a goal into the far post to double the Bruins’ lead in the 83rd minute.
• Helped limit the Huskies to just four shots on goal in her 13th-straight start this season, one of just three Bruins to start every game this season.
• Earns her first-career weekly honor and the 75th all-time weekly honor for the Bruins.

• Earned fifth solo shutout of the season in a 2-0 road win at Washington, making four saves to move into fifth on UCLA’s career list with 179.
• Has not allowed a goal in her last five games and boasts a 362-minute shutout streak, holding opponent scoreless in seven of the nine games she has played.
• Ranks fifth on UCLA’s all-time list for shutouts (23), victories (39) and saves (179).
• Earns her sixth-career weekly honor, second of the season, and the 76th all-time weekly honor for the Bruins.
